One Culture LLC ("BeatBrain," "we," "us," or "our") operates the BeatBrain platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website, API, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, account type, and country. For rights holders, we also collect payment information through our payment processor, Stripe.
Audio Files. When you upload music, we store the audio files and extract technical metadata (BPM, key, energy, waveform data, spectral features) for analysis and playback purposes.
Usage Data. We collect information about how you interact with BeatBrain, including spin events, session data, feedback signals, and API usage. This data is used to improve our service and calculate royalties.
Device & Log Data. We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs when you access our platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide, maintain, and improve BeatBrain's services
• Process royalty payments and generate royalty statements
• Analyze audio content to enable AI-powered mixing and discovery
• Train and improve our music intelligence models (track embeddings, affinity graphs, taste profiles)
• Communicate with you about your account, payments, and service updates
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and fraud
3. How We Share Your Information
Payment Processing. We share necessary information with Stripe to process payments and payouts.
AI Agents. Track metadata (title, artist, BPM, key, energy, genre) is made available to AI agents through our API to enable music discovery and playback. Audio files are streamed but not downloadable.
Rights Reporting. We share spin data and royalty calculations with rights holders, performing rights organizations (PROs), and mechanical licensing bodies as required by applicable music licensing laws.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Audio files are retained as long as they are part of our active catalog. Spin events, session data, and royalty records are retained indefinitely to support accurate royalty accounting and legal compliance.
You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial record-keeping obligations.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Cloudflare), and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
